Supporting the Next Generation: Eagles Rock My School 2026, Proudly Supported By Hawaiian

Hawaiian is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with the West Coast Eagles’ leading education program for WA kids – Eagles Rock My School (ERMS). 

ERMS is a values-based initiative that has been connecting with young Western Australian primary school children for more than two decades.

Since 2004, ERMS has delivered important messages around respect, healthy choices and striving to be your best.  In 2026, the program has evolved to better respond to the changing needs of primary school students.

Through conversations with schools and educators, it became clear to our partners at the West Coast Eagles that many students are facing increasing social challenges.

While students are more connected than ever online, genuine, face-to-face connection is becoming harder to build. It’s something people are actively seeking more of, particularly when it comes to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people and it’s a trend we’re also seeing across our Hawaiian shopping centre communities.

In response, the ERMS program has sharpened its focus on friendship, teamwork and positive relationships, an area Hawaiian is equally passionate about supporting from a grassroots level.

Using storytelling and sport, the program helps students build confidence, understand one another, and form meaningful connections – skills that extend well beyond the classroom.

Creating A Positive Impact Beyond the School Gate

The impact of ERMS extends well beyond a single school visit. Each session creates a moment that sticks with students. It builds confidence, encourages positive behaviours and reinforces the importance of connection and over time, we hope these moments contribute to stronger, more resilient young people.

For Hawaiian, this reflects a broader commitment to creating places and partnerships that support thriving communities. Across our shopping centres, we focus on creating welcoming, family-friendly environments where people can connect, spend time together and feel part of something local.  Our partnership with ERMS is a natural extension of this. It takes these same values directly into schools and into the heart of the community.
