Noranda Feelgood Pharmacy Celebrates 40 years of caring

18 Aug 2023

Marc Segler and his wife Sandra decided to buy the Noranda Feelgood Pharmacy in 1983 and on the 1st September they celebrate 40 years of caring for the community.

Their focus is patient care, as they are a small independent, professional services Community Pharmacy. They believe that all patients and customers, anyone who walks in, should be able to see a Pharmacist if they have a question about their health, require some advice or just want to talk to a health care professional, regardless of whether they have a script.

They are the longest existing tenant at Hawaiian’s Noranda and have been here for all but the first two years since the centre opened in 1981. They have employed over 250 staff during that time and have dispensed a whopping 1.5 million prescriptions.

Marc and Sandra were married the year they purchased the Pharmacy so while spending 40 years caring for their community, they have spent the same time caring for each other. Their three children have all worked there, selling Easter Eggs and Christmas cakes in the mall in the 1990’s.

The Pharmacy team (made up of Manager Jane, Pharmacists Suzana, Kathryn, WanYin, Michelle, Raj and Marc, Dispensary Tech Miranda and Pharmacy Assistants Janelle, Amber, Kyle and Sandra) will be hosting a week of exciting activities from August 28th until 1st of September to celebrate their special milestone.

There will be reps instore with displays, tastings, mini makeups, sampling etc with give aways and balloons daily all culminating in an anniversary cake cutting on Friday 1st at 10am.

Marc and the team invite you to come down and celebrate with them and they look forward to seeing old and new faces as they look back at 40 wonderful years in their community.
