Building Information

The London House Management Team is responsible for all aspects of the building's operations and services. The team is committed to providing tenants with high standards of office accommodation and services to ensure the comfort of all occupants and suitability of services.

The building's Facilities Manager is located at Level one of London House. In addition, a Concierge can be found in the lobby and is available to assist with all tenant and visitor enquiries.

Your friendly Concierge Hanna, is located at the main desk on the ground floor lobby of the building and will welcome your visitors, provide a VIP meet and greet, escort guests/clients to your office and provide assistance as required.

Concierge services are available Monday to Friday from 8am - 4:30pm and using this online portal 'The Parmelia Collective' you can quickly contact the Concierge using the ‘Live Chat’ function.

Hanna, will always do his best to go above and beyond to help out.

  • Activating, issuing or replacing building and car park access cards
  • Provide building tours and information sessions for new staff
  • Keep you up to date with free exclusive events, engagement activities and Perth precinct highlights
  • Source tickets to major sporting events and concerts and excellent offers and discounts

The gym is also located adjacent to the End of Trip facility (change rooms) equipt with lockers, to be used on a first-come, first-served basis. A towel service, hairdryer/straightener and steamer are provided free of charge.

The gym is available to all tenants and is protected by an electronic lock system with access granted by using your building swipe card.

To request access to the gym, please email Concierge. At this time you will be provided with London House's End of Trip T&C's to read and sign before access will be permitted.

Male and female change rooms are located on the upper-level rear carpark of the building equipt with lockers, to be used on a first-come, first-served basis. A towel service, hairdryer/straightener and steamer are provided free of charge.

The change rooms are available to all tenants and are protected by an electronic lock system with access granted by using your building swipe card.

To request access to the change room facilities, please email Concierge. At this time you will be provided with Parmelia's End of Trip T&C's to read and sign before access will be permitted.

A modern well-equipped gymnasium and bike storage area are located adjacent to the Change Room Facilities.

A fully equipped conference room is available on the ground floor and can accommodate 50 people. The facility includes state of the art projection, sound and video systems. The layout of the room can be changed to be appropriate for various functions with the availability of various shapes and sizes of tables to facilitate discussion, encourage communication, support education.

London House provides limited secure car parking available to tenants. The parking is located on three levels behind the building.

  • The building offers 105 car bays with a 2.1m height restriction; including mixed permanent, casual and public parking.
  • Entry via St Georges Terrace and exit via Hay Street.
  • Bays can be leased on a monthly basis or long term.
  • Programming of the security access cards is required to gain access.
  • Payment for public parking is by cash/credit card at the pay station located near the entry boom gate.

Loading dock

  • The loading dock is at the rear of the building only with a 3m height restriction.
  • Entry via St Georges Terrace and exit via Hay Street.
  • Restricted to 10 minutes periods or for short periods by contractors.
  • The loading dock has been refurbished with the addition of a lift table for ease of transferring heavy loads.
  • Please contact the Facilities Manager to arrange.

London House is serviced by five lifts providing access to all office levels. The lifts are centrally located within the core area of the building's floor space.

Outside of normal business hours, access to floors can only be gained by the use of a programmed access card. Tenants with particular security needs may arrange to secure their floor at times independent of normal business hours.

Passenger Lifts

There are five-passenger lifts serving levels ground and levels 1 to 17. Load rated to 1,360kg.

Goods Lift

One of the passenger lifts is enabled as a goods lift to be utilised during fit-out, large load transportation and deliveries. The available capacity of this lift is 1,360kg and serves all floors including the mezzanine.

The internal height of the goods lift is slightly more than the passenger lifts for ease of moving large loads. The goods lift can be booked for use by a single tenant for short periods of time in off-peak periods by contacting the Facilities Manager.

After-hours security guards provide daily random patrols of the building to ensure security to all perimeter areas and internal office areas are safe.

Parmelia House is equipped with a modern and sophisticated proximity-based access control system and a closed-circuit television network (CCTV).

The building core security hours during business days are:

Ground Floor
Security off (all pedestrian entry points) 7am
Security on (all pedestrian entry points) 6pm

Loading Dock
Security off 7am
Security on 4.30pm

Car Park (boom gates)
Car park access for permanent and casual bays has security 24/7. Access is for authorised programmed access cardholders only.

If you require after business hours access to the building or car park, please advise the Facilities Manager, who will make appropriate security access arrangements.

Cleaners are appointed to the building and work between 7.30am - 1pm and 6pm - 8.30pm weekdays.

Special requests and emergency cleaning can be arranged through the Facilities Manager.

Major irregular cleaning when required will occur with advance notice to affected tenants and pedestrians. At all times, any disruptions are considered and the impact on tenants and pedestrians is aimed to be minimised.

Co-mingled and cardboard recycling, e-waste and battery specific collection points are located in the loading dock area. For more information around this please contact Concierge.

Additional COVID Cleaning Measures

We are continuing to take the advice from the Department of Health as to the steps that should be taken to help minimise the spread of the Covid-19 virus and comply with Government requirements. We have also implemented additional cleaning measures.

Social Distancing and Hygiene Measures:

  • Good hygiene and social distancing signage displayed within our lobby areas and on our media screens in line with government advice.
  • Physical distancing measures implemented through floor decals and signage to provide guidance in queuing areas.
  • Fire stairwells available for tenants to exit, within business hours.
  • Hand sanitiser station available in the lobby for all tenants and visitors.

Common Area Cleaning:

  • Implementation of enhanced cleaning process across all common areas.
  • Additional cleaner on-site between 10am to 3pm (Monday to Friday), focusing on the cleaning and sanitising of touchpoints in all common areas.

Air Conditioning

The building's system is designed to maintain a temperature of between 22-24C as per the recommended Australian Standards and operates automatically during occupancy hours.

The air-conditioning is programmed to meet design conditions from 8:30am to 6pm (business days; excluding public holidays).

Any air conditioning maintenance faults are to be reported to the Facilities Manager.

After-hours use is available and operated by activating the push-button control located in the lobby of each floor which will run the single tenancy for a two-hour period.

Electrical Power Supply & Distribution

Power comes from a sub-station supplied by the supply authority. Tenants have their individual meters in the floor distribution board. Tenancy supply capacity is 180 amps per floor shared proportionately where levels are multi-tenanted.

A 600KVA standby diesel generator system is installed for essential services in common areas and a small area of tenancies to enable an ordered evacuation of the property should circumstances necessitate. Upon the loss of the main incoming power supply, selected services will be disconnected at the mainboard and the generator will automatically start following a timed delay. There is adequate emergency lighting in the public area to provide safe egress in the event of an outage. Exit signs will stay lit to guide people for up to 90 minutes.

London House has a fire sprinkler system, fire hydrant and hose reel system in compliance with the current building regulations and Australian standards, which include:

  • An approved fire sprinkler system
  • Fire telephone installed on each floor
  • Fire stair pressurisation
  • Emergency evacuation warning system
  • Emergency lighting
  • Car Parking

In case of emergency or evacuation please act immediately and follow instructions provided through the building speaker system.
