THE MINIONS TAKE OVER PERTH’S NEIGHBOURHOOD SHOPPING CENTRES THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Perth families are in for a mischievous school holiday surprise, as the Minions and Monsters activation arrives in Western Australia for the first time, taking over Hawaiian’s neighbourhood shopping centres.

Fresh from the release of Minions & Monsters in cinemas this July, the yellow troublemakers are bringing the fun off the big screen and into local communities these school holidays.

From character meet and greets and themed photo opportunities to DIY slime workshops inspired by Irene the Slime Monster from the latest film, Minions-inspired treats and a passport adventure with prizes, families can get up close with their favourite yellow characters while enjoying plenty of free activities close to home.

Following the success of Hawaiian’s Nickelodeon character experience earlier this year, the Minions and Monsters program continues Hawaiian’s focus on creating accessible, memorable experiences for families in the communities where they live.

The two-week program has been designed to make school holidays a little easier for families, offering plenty to see and do without the price tag of a major day out – and giving parents another reason to get the kids out of the house and into their local shopping centre.

At Darling Ridge by Hawaiian, Hawaiian’s Duncraig and Hillarys by Hawaiian, kids can pick up a Minions Passport and collect stamps as they explore the centre. Once completed, they can redeem their card for a special Minions collectible to take home.

And because no Minions adventure would be complete without a little extra mischief, families who sign up to the Hawaiian newsletter will also go into the draw to win a $200 Minions-themed gift pack.
