Partnering with Foodbank for a Hunger Free WA
For over 13 years, Hawaiian has proudly partnered with Foodbank WA, standing alongside them in the fight against food insecurity across our state. We’ve seen firsthand the growing challenges faced by thousands of people doing it tough in our communities, and we believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious, quality food.
This long-standing partnership reflects our deep commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, not just during the festive season, but all year round. Together, we’re working to ease food stress and create meaningful change, one meal at a time.
Hawaiian’s Giving Box Appeal
This festive season, we’re inviting you to take part in our annual Hawaiian Giving Box appeal. By donating non-perishable food items or making a monetary contribution, you’ll be helping Foodbank WA provide meals to families in need.
Last year, thanks to your generosity, we collected 5,800 kilograms of food and helped to create over 100,000 meals.
How to Give
From Wednesday 12 November to Tuesday 30 December 2025, Hawaiian’s Giving Boxes will be available at:

- Hawaiian’s Forrestfield
- Hawaiian’s Mezz
- Hawaiian’s Noranda
- Hawaiian’s Park Centre
- Hawaiian’s Melville
- Hawaiian’s Newpark
You can also contribute easily via our Tap & Gift spots located on each Giving Box. $5 can help Foodbank WA provide 10 meals to people in need.
Whether it’s a can of food, a few dollars, or simply spreading the word, every act of kindness counts.
Hawaiian’s Gift a Giving Box

Now in its third year, Gift a Giving Box is a Hawaiian-led community initiative that brings kindness and connection to those who need it most during the festive season. As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting West Australians facing food insecurity, this campaign runs alongside Hawaiian’s Giving Box appeal.
How to Gift a Giving Box
We’re inviting you to nominate someone who may be doing it tough, or who could simply use a little extra cheer at this time of the year.
Nominations are easy and free.
Nominations are open from Monday 17th November – Sunday 8 December 2025.
Successful nominees will receive a hand-packed hamper filled with long-life food, gift cards, and festive treats, personally delivered by the Hawaiian team – just in time for the holidays. It’s our way of showing that even small gestures can make a big impact.
