Hawaiian Breaks Ground at Newpark Dining Precinct
Hawaiian is thrilled to announce construction work has officially begun on a vibrant new dining precinct, set to transform Hawaiian’s Newpark. Once complete, the new alfresco space will create an exciting social destination for the local community.
As part of a larger redevelopment project, this pivotal milestone of breaking ground also signifies other works taking place at the neighbourhood centre which will elevate the experience and deliver long term benefits for the Girrawheen community.
In addition to a newly created alfresco space, the centre will receive enhancements ranging from an interior ambience refresh, updated flooring and ceilings, upgraded amenities, and new retailers will be welcomed to the centre, completing the transformation.
Long term retail partners, Subway, Viet Long, Girrawheen Family Store, Hai Ha Money Transfer and Golddubbs will be relocated to upgraded premises within the centre as part of the changes taking place, with these moves expected to further enhance the shopping experience.
Scott Greenwood, General Manager of Shopping Centres at Hawaiian said, “After months of planning, we are excited to break ground on the area that will soon be home to a new alfresco area for the neighbourhood to enjoy.”
“We’ve already made some exciting changes at the centre and it’s fantastic to officially announce the start of works at Hawaiian’s Newpark.
“Last year, we welcomed WA’s very first Supa Valu and earlier this year, REVO Fitness opened its doors at the centre. We will soon be welcoming more new retailers to the centre who will further enrich the neighbourhood’s retail offer,” Mr Greenwood added.
The new alfresco area at Hawaiian’s Newpark is set to open later this year.
