Hawaiian appoints Beau Waters as Chief Executive Officer

On Monday, 3 August 2026, Hawaiian announced the appointment of Beau Waters as Chief Executive Officer, following a comprehensive and competitive recruitment process.
Hawaiian Chair, Russell Gibbs said the Board was delighted to appoint Beau to lead the business into its next chapter.
“Following a rigorous recruitment process, the Board unanimously agreed Beau was the standout candidate to lead Hawaiian into the future.”
“Since joining Hawaiian as Chief Operating Officer in 2025, Beau has made a significant impact across the business. He is a respected leader who has earned the trust of our people, built strong relationships with stakeholders, and consistently demonstrated the values that sit at the heart of Hawaiian.”
“Beau brings a clear vision for the future, a deep understanding of our business and communities, and a genuine commitment to our people. We are incredibly pleased to appoint him as Chief Executive Officer.”
Mr Waters said he was honoured to be entrusted with the role.
