Dynamic Dining Hub Set to Transform Hawaiian’s Newpark

26 Mar 2024

WA property group, Hawaiian is delighted to announce the City of Wanneroo has granted Development Application (DA) approval for its plans to create an exciting and transformative dining hub at Hawaiian’s Newpark.

The dining precinct will feature a new and dynamic alfresco space with comfortable seating, lush greenery, ambient lighting and fresh signage to create a vibrant outdoor space for the community to enjoy.

As part of the project, Hawaiian will be introducing new hospitality offerings, embracing the diversity of the local Girrawheen community. The dining precinct is a key element of Hawaiian’s broader plans to transform and breathe new life into the much-loved centre.

In December 2023, Hawaiian’s Newpark welcomed Western Australia’s very first Supa Valu. The new independent supermarket, powered by the IGA wholesaler Metcash, features an in-store bakery and butcher and offers low cost, bulk buy grocery and household items, providing the community with more choice for affordable shopping solutions, important in the current economic climate.

Revo Fitness will also be opening on Monday, 22 April 2024, further contributing to the range of offerings for Girrawheen locals.

Richard Kilbane, Chief Operating Officer at Hawaiian said the significant investment in Hawaiian’s Newpark highlighted Hawaiian’s commitment to the community.

“We believe these enhancements will not only elevate the physical space but more importantly, contribute to creating a stronger sense of community. We want to create a warm and welcoming
neighbourhood centre which reflects the diversity and vibrancy of the people who live in the area.”

“Hawaiian’s Newpark has been a cornerstone of the local community for along time. This transformation solidifies our commitment to creating a place which provides opportunities for meaningful connections and enables the community to thrive,” Mr Kilbane added.

Internal ambience enhancements and entrance upgrades are also planned as part of the redevelopment of the centre.

Works on the new dining precinct are set to commence in 2024.
