Congratulations Telethon for Raising $83,264,216!

A huge congratulations to our partners at Telethon for topping last year’s total to raise an incredible $83,264,216.

Telethon has a beautiful way of bringing West Australian’s together and is a shining example of what we can achieve when we all work together. Its mission to provide life-changing support to young children and Western Australian families resonates deeply with us at Hawaiian, and we are immensely proud of our partnership.

We may be a Million Dollar Partner, but to us, our support is unwavering and holds so much more than a financial contribution. The meaning of Telethon and the way it brings people together inspires what we do and shows how we can work together to lift others up.

This year, we are proud to have harnessed our neighbourhood centres to connect our communities with Telethon.

Across seven of our centres, we transformed spaces into pop-up retro gaming arcades and encouraged the community to ‘Play It Forward’ so they could join in to raise money for Telethon.

Also embedded in our ethos is the spirit of giving. We are so proud of our team of volunteers for joining the call centre over the weekend. You did us all proud.

One of our favourite parts is when the Little Telethon Stars are gifted Hawaiian giving boxes in recognition of their inspiring bravery and resilience. We love the joy it brings them. These Little Stars remind us why Telethon exists and why every cent raised is crucial in ensuring a better life for our children now and in the future.

Because of WA’s generosity and commitment to working together, we are giving our young people the opportunity to thrive.
