Brekky for Better
28 Jul 2026
Breakfast is just the beginning. Sitting down to a meal creates a moment of connection, a chance for trust to build, for someone to feel seen, and for the next step towards stability to feel possible. For people experiencing homelessness, that first shared meal can be the doorway to something much bigger: access to support services, housing referrals, and assistance tailored to their individual circumstances.
A Donation Bin, Right Here at Shop 15 (Meredith Hammat Office)Â
Throughout the campaign, we’ll have a Brekky for Better donation bin at shop 15 and we’re inviting the community to drop in breakfast items such as:
- Cereal
- Long-life milk
- Coffee
It’s a small act that makes a real difference. Every box of cereal or carton of long-life milk donated helps Uniting WA continue its work supporting people doing it tough.
Why It Matters
The need is significant. Uniting WA’s homelessness hub receives more than 90,000 presentations each year, and in 2025 alone, the hub delivered more than 235,000 instances of support to people experiencing homelessness. Behind every one of those numbers is a person looking for a way forward and breakfast is often where that journey starts.
Proudly Backed by the Perth Community
Brekky for Better is proudly supported by Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun, along with community partners across Perth who are helping spread the word and rally support.
We’d love for our community to get behind this campaign too. Drop off your breakfast donations at shop 15 and be part of helping someone take their next step towards stability.
Every donation helps. Every breakfast counts.
