Supporting food nutrition education at The Sunshine Harvester Works

Hawaiian’s partnership with Foodbank WA is reaching new highs with a fresh new approach to nutrition education.
Since 2012, Hawaiian has worked alongside Foodbank WA to tackle food insecurity in Western Australia. During this time, we have delivered over 170,000 meals to local families in need through the Hawaiian Giving Box Christmas Appeal and corporate volunteering.
After 10 years of support, we are excited to announce a new community initiative with Foodbank WA.
We have recently expanded our partnership to include Sunshine Harvester Works where Foodbank are delivering nutrition education to Fremantle locals. The four week, hands-on cooking program covers the importance of eating nutritious food, creating a food budget, planning meals, reading food labels, and food safety.
Together with Foodbank WA, Hawaiian are now not just helping to deliver food to those in need, we are also ensuring households are well educated to make nutritious choices and ultimately, achieving sustainable community wellness.
