Hawaiian sells London House and purchases Hillary’s Shopping Centre

20 Sep 2022

In a review of our property portfolio, we are excited to confirm that we have sold our St Georges Terrace office building London House and purchased Hillarys Shopping Centre.

Hawaiian Chief Executive Officer, Russell Gibbs said Hawaiian remains committed to the Perth Office Building sector – and currently owns and operates three St Georges Terrace office buildings, including Parmelia House, 177 St Georges Terrace and 235 St Georges Terrace (with Brookfield Properties).

“As we left one asset, we took the opportunity to secure a new one; purchasing Hillarys Shopping Centre, bringing to 11 Hawaiian’s shopping centre assets – a sign that we believe strongly in the WA retail sector.”

Hawaiian have already taken ownership and management of the fully-leased Hillarys Shopping Centre, located at 110 Flinders Drive, Hillarys. Anchored by major supermarket tenant Coles, the centre includes 18 retail and medical tenancies with a land holding of 1.31ha, a floor area of 4,436sqm and 294 car parking bays.

Mr Gibbs said the group was pleased to have a presence in Perth’s northern beaches. “We’re very excited to be joining the Hillarys and northern beaches community and getting to know our new neighbourhood. At Hawaiian we ensure our local shopping centres are active and engaged in the communities we operate, and this philosophy has helped us build strong relationships and loyal customers committed to our centres and our retail tenants.”

Every Hawaiian neighbourhood shopping centre, big or small, is proud to be part of the local community.
