We welcomed home the 150 riders who cycled 700 kilometres from Albany to Perth to raise awareness and funds for youth mental health at the Hawaiian Ride for Youth.

Hawaiian has supported Youth Focus since the very beginning of the ride, more than two decades ago. What began as a small charity event with 24 riders in 2003 has grown into one of Australia’s landmark fundraising events.

This year the Hawaiian Ride for Youth raised an incredible $2.3 million, taking the total raised during the ride’s 21-year history to more than $32 million.

Contributing to this fundraising result were Hawaiian’s shopping centre and Parmelia House activations. A standout result was The Mezz where the next-generation riders, affectionately termed the Young Guns, raised $1,137 in just over an hour!
