Neighbourhood Perks Has Levelled Up!

Neighbourhood Perks is back and better than ever!

We’ve heard your feedback and we’ve given your local rewards programme a glow up. We’ve kept the parts that you love and improved the parts that weren’t so loved.  The new Neighbourhood Perks is easier to use, has a fresh new look, some great new features, and more ways for you to be rewarded.

Here’s what’s different:

• Badges are out, points are in – following a familiar formula, Perks players can now collect points to earn rewards. Points can be collected for spending in-centre, playing online games, sharing your thoughts, coming along to our centre events and even just by having a birthday!
• Unlimited uploads – there’s no more limits on how many receipts you can upload. Every time you shop at a Hawaiian shopping centre, you can upload your receipt and earn points. There are even double point opportunities so you can turbo-charge your rewards!
• More rewards – there’s now more ways to get rewarded with Neighbourhood Perks. The $10 gift card rewards have stayed but now you can also trade points for free coffees, retailer offers or you can choose to give back to one of Hawaiian’s WA-based community partners. From time-to-time, we’ll also be able to offer exclusive tickets to sporting or arts events.
• Everything in one place – no more visiting a different website to earn rewards at one of our 10 suburban shopping centres! All Hawaiian’s shopping centres now live on the same Neighbourhood Perks hub, so you can easily switch between locations.
• Personalised profiles – as a bit of fun, you can now personalise your profile with fun avatars. Your profile will be your Neighbourhood Perks home where you can check points balances and keep up with any changes.

How you can redeem points

There are two way to redeem your points:

1. 2,000 points = score yourself a free coffee at your local Hawaiian shopping centre OR make a $10 donation to one of Hawaiian’s WA-based community partners.
2. 4,000 points  = $10 gift card
3. Special points = option to trade points for exclusive tickets or experiences. These will be released periodically and you can find out about them via your Neighbourhood Perks e-newsletter.

Points are earned for everything you do at Hawaiian shopping centre – the weekly grocery shop, your daily coffee hit, a Saturday night take-away, a haircut, filling a prescription and even your Lotto purchases.  Those points add up pretty quickly! Plus, you get access to ‘free points’ when you play our online games, attend centre events or have a birthday.

But, what about the badges?

A lot of our Neighbourhood Perks community have been diligently collecting badges for over 12 months – that is not in vain! We are pleased to let you know that any outstanding badges have been converted to points so existing players have a head-start in their points collection.
