We are pleased to announce that Hawaiian has appointed Richard Kilbane as it’s new Chief Operating Officer.

Richard moves into the leadership role from his position as Hawaiian General Manager – Office Buildings after 16 years with us and is a dynamic leader in the WA property industry. He has played an integral role in our portfolio development, including Claremont Quarter, 235 St Georges Terrace and most recently, the $50 million refurbishment of the iconic Parmelia Hilton Hotel and the development of Hawaiian’s new head office at 177 St Georges Terrace amongst other achievements.

Chief Executive Officer Russell Gibbs said “Richard has also transformed Hawaiian’s award-winning Office Building portfolio into one that embraces innovation and change, and was the obvious choice as the company looks to the future.”

Richard is delighted to be entrusted with the role, adding that he believes the company’s future was very exciting. “Hawaiian has always provided an amazing and unique opportunity to work in the dynamic property industry and, at the same time, make a positive difference in our community.”

He is the Vice-President of the WA Division of the Property Council of Australia and a graduate of the Harvard Business School of General Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and sits on the Board of St. Bart’s.

A huge congratulations and we look forward to what’s to come under Richard’s leadership.

Every Hawaiian neighbourhood shopping centre, big or small, is proud to be part of the local community.
