The Transformation Continues at Hawaiian’s Newpark

The refurbishment continues at Hawaiian’s Newpark!
Over the next two weeks, Hawaiian’s Newpark will undergo the next step in our transformation as we begin installing a new façade.
Starting Monday, 12 August, our builders will be adding stylish timber deco battens to each of the Centre’s three entrances. This is an exciting milestone, offering our community the first look at the future of Hawaiian’s Newpark.
Construction Schedule:
Starting Monday, 12 August, construction will follow a staged approach over approximately two weeks:
- Stage 1: Northern Entry (Supa Valu)
- The pedestrian ramp will remain open, but the stairs will be closed.
- A foot traffic management plan will direct customers to the ramp.
- Four car parking bays will be closed and reinstated once the work is complete.
- Stage 2: Southern Entry (Girrawheen Family Store)
- Work will begin towards the end of week one.
- Fencing will be in place, but there will be no other impacts.
- A pedestrian foot traffic management plan will be implemented.
- Stage 3: East Entry (Kim Hanh Jeweller)
- Work will start at the beginning of week two (19 August).
- One ACROD bay will be closed for no longer than two days, during the Centre’s quietest days.
