3X3 Basketball Tournament swishing into Hawaiian’s Forrestfield

Get excited this school holidays, as Hawaiian’s Forrestfield puts on a free 3x3 basketball tournament that will get kids active and teach them some new basketball skills.

Hosted by the Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association and the Kalamunda Eastern Suns, kids can participate in one of many tournaments including an under-13 boys and girls competition, under-16 boys and girls competition, and an inclusive mixed competition.

Whether you want to hone your skills or just have fun, there will be lots of exciting times to be had including games of ‘bump’, three-point contests, face painting and other activities, with heaps of prizes to be won.

Hawaiian’s General Manager Shopping Centres Scott Greenwood said partnering with the Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association and the Kalamunda Eastern Suns allows Hawaiian to provide an exciting and challenging activity for the school holidays.

“We are committed to giving back to the community and it is great to be able to partner with local sporting groups to offer young people a fun activity in the local area,” Said Mr Greenwood.

“The basketball tournament will not only be a bit of fun but also teach participants some new skills along the way.”

Get a team together and register by 5pm on September 30 with the tournament happening at Hawaiian’s Forrestfield on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 between 10am – 5pm.

The 3x3 Basketball tournaments categories are as follows:

  • Under 13 Boys and Girls Competition
  • Under 16 Boys and Girls Competition
  • Inclusion Mixed Competition
