The countdown to Christmas is on and the Perth Wildcats and local Perth school students have dug deep to support the Hawaiian Giving Box Christmas Appeal.
With just days to go before most of us are celebrating Christmas by unwrapping presents and sharing delicious food with loved ones, spare a thought for the thousands of West Australians who are not as fortunate.
The Hawaiian Giving Box Appeal directly helps West Australians who are struggling to get by.
Teaming with Foodbank WA and Variety WA, the Hawaiian Giving Box collects donations of non-perishable food, children’s gifts and monetary donations (via tap + go facilities) which directly help locals in need.
Already, the Perth Wildcats have slam-dunked their donations into the gold Giving Boxes. Students at 17 Perth primary schools (and even one day care centre!) have joined the Appeal and collected more than 3500kg of donations of food and gifts for local families in need.
We invite you to join in on the spirit of giving by making your donation at Hawaiian's Bassendean.
Hawaiian’s gold giving boxes can be found at our six metropolitan shopping centres including here at Hawaiian's Bassendean, Claremont Quarter, Hawaiian’s Forrestfield, Hawaiian’s Melville, Hawaiian’s Mezz in Mt Hawthorn, Hawaiian’s Noranda and Hawaiian’s Park Centre in East Victoria Park.
Your gift of non-perishable food, a toy for a child, a gift for a teenager or a monetary donation will go directly to Foodbank WA and Variety WA as the charities support local WA people facing hardship.
By giving to the Hawaiian Giving Box Christmas Appeal you are showing a fellow West Australian who is doing it tough that you care.
And isn’t that the spirit of Christmas?
