As part of National Volunteer Week, the Hawaiian team joined in the Foodbank WA Mega Meal Challenge with the aim to create over 1,500 readily cooked meals for those in need.
Our team worked in the Community Kitchen alongside Chef Grant to assist in preparing, cooking and packing healthy meals that will be distributed across the six Foodbank branches across WA to a network of over 400 registered charity partners.
It is during times like these that it’s even more important to give back as over 300,000 Western Australians are going without regular nutritious meals on a daily basis. We are proud to be involved for another year with Foodbank WA in edging closer to eliminating hunger.
