Hawaiian hosts West Coast Eagles Community Fan Day

17 Apr 2019

West Coast Eagles fans will have the opportunity to meet the AFL greats – including players from the 2018 Premiership Team – at two Community Fan Days held at Hawaiian’s Noranda and Hawaiian’s Forrestfield.

West Coast Eagles players will take to Hawaiian’s Noranda on 23 April and Hawaiian’s Forrestfield on 2 May, alongside beloved mascots Rick the Rock and Auzzie the Eagle.

Kids can track how fast they can kick a football in the West Coast Eagles speed cube, and practice their handballing at the giant inflatable target. Get faces painted in Eagles colours, high-five Rick the Rock and grab a selfie with your favourite players.

A live Q&A session will be held with players on the day, with five lucky winners receiving a West Coast Eagles take home back on the day if they’re chosen to ask a question.

Don’t forget your 2018 premiership gear! Attendees at Hawaiian’s Noranda will be able to grab autographs from three players from the 2018 Premiership team, with Liam Duggan, Chris Masten and Will Schofield in attendance, alongside midfielder Brendon Ah Chee.

Attendees at Hawaiian’s Forrestfield will meet 2018 Premiership players Lewis Jetta and Jeremy McGovern, alongside Andrew Gaff and Tom Hickey.

Attendees can expect fun for all ages, with over $1,000 worth of retail vouchers being given away.

Hawaiian is a proud partner and supporter of the West Coast Eagles, with a mutual commitment to engaging with the local Western Australian community.

Hawaiian CEO Russell Gibbs said the partnership with the West Coast Eagles allowed Hawaiian to provide local communities with opportunities to come together.

“As a proud partner of the West Coast Eagles for the past eight years, we have been able to engage with Western Australians across our ten suburban shopping centres and provide them access to their favourite Eagles players.”

“Families have the opportunity to spend some time with their favourite sporting heroes – a treasured memory that we hope will inspire children to chase their own footy dreams.”
