London House is set to get a major facelift which will transform the long established commercial office building into a prestige address for both businesses and restaurant goers in Perth’s CBD.
Work has now begun on a refurbishment which will see the creation of an upmarket, contemporary restaurant, bar and café, as well as a new gymnasium and refurbished conference room.
The development of the restaurant will be overseen by Melbourne restaurateur John Ahern, best known for the Blvd, one of Melbourne’s most iconic waterfront restaurants on Melbourne’s Yarra River, and the Watermark Bar at Victoria Harbour.
A variety of intimate spaces within the overall ground floor area of London House will include an al fresco area, café, bar and lounge space, formal restaurant, and refurbished courtyard with BBQ facilities.
The interior fit-out will use raw natural materials to create a contemporary yet warm and inviting environment.
London House’s refurbishment will also include a fully operational new gymnasium for the property’s tenants.
Hawaiian anticipates that the full refurbishment will be completed by July 2008.
