The Park Centre and Noranda Shopping Village were a buzz of activity during the July school holidays with the Shop’N’Rock singing competition taking place. 
The competition’s grand final was on Saturday 24 July at The Park Centre, with dozens of people, especially families, coming along to enjoy the competition.
The Shop’N’Rock hosts were Chris Murphy of Australian Idol fame, and Channel 10’s Lachy Reid, who often had the audience in fits of laughter and the kids breaking out in dance.
Anton Maz from WAAPA and Cam James gave some discerning advice as judges of the competition.
There was a winner and runner up for each of the three categories, with Veronica Bravo taking out the overall prize, a half day in a recording studio.
