Thank you to everyone that joined the Hawaiian Team at our Family Fun Day 2008 at Movies by Burswood.
On Sunday 20th January 2008, over 800 Hawaiian tenants, suppliers and partners attended the Hawaiian Family Fun Day held in the Movies by Burswood grounds. There was plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy, including 'Riding for the Disabled' pony rides, face painting, a butterfly stilt walker, a roving juggler, surf and dunking machines, animal farm, teacup ride and the Southern Cross Bush Band . One of the day's highlights was the special visit from the Wildcats team, who not only played games with the kids but also interacted with the crowd as they handed out gift bags and signing autographs.
Congratulations also to Paul Lane, who won the Wildcats Super Box competition and will be watching the Wildcats vs Sydney Kings game with six lucky friends on Saturday, 2nd February 2008.
Some of the Wildcats coaches and players even stayed on with their families for the exclusive preview of the romantic comedy, ‘Dan in Real Life’, starring Steve Carrel and Juliette Binoche.
A special thanks goes to Movies by Burswood and their troupe of very hard working volunteers that helped make the day the huge success it was. The food and drinks supplied by the Movies by Burswood stands generated over $8,000, with all profits donated to children’s charities!
The Hawaiian team are thrilled to have been able to host so many members of our extended Hawaiian Family at this special event, which would not have been possible without your support.
