Stage 1 of Bishops See is now fully leased following the commitment by an undisclosed party to lease the remaining two full floors.

An organisation, wishing to remain confidential, has agreed to a lease pre-commitment of approximately 4,188m2 on the first two floors of the heritage listed site on St Georges Terrace known as ‘Bishops See’.

Bishops See is being developed by Hawaiian and its development partner Multiplex in two stages. Stage 1 of the development is due for completion in early 2009 and comprises a nine level office tower totalling 18,000m² set amongst the historic Bishops See gardens.

The second stage of the development comprises a much larger building, nominally 27 storeys or 46,000m² of floor space, and leasing pre-commitment is now actively being sought.

Construction of the first tower is well underway and the development partners are aiming for this development to achieve a 5 Star Green Star office design rating.
