 On Monday 3rd December, a day which also marked International Day of
People with a Disability, The Mezz was awarded the 2007 Vincent
Approved Access Award.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Town of Vincent's headquarters in Leederville.
Hawaiian representatives were in attendance from The Mezz and accepted the Award from the Town of Vincent's Mayor Nick Catania.
The award was presented to The Mezz in recognising it as a Centre that is making a positive difference to the lives of people with disabilities who are residents within the Town.
This is a great result for the Hawaiian team’s efforts in making The Mezz a place for everybody, and one where people with disabilities can access with ease. |
