London House's The George, has won the Contemporary Bar Award and Hotel/Tavern Wine List Award at the 2009 AHA (WA) Aon Hotel Awards for Excellence, beating other renowned West Australian finalists.

These two awards follow a host of industry gongs already awarded to The George, including ‘Best Restaurant within a Tavern’ at the 2009 Gold Plate Awards. 

             

Held by the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) WA, the Aon Hotel Awards recognise the hotels, accommodation properties, employees, dining and entertainment venues that exemplify excellence within the hospitality industry.

The George’s Function and Sales Manager Meg Coffey was also presented a Merit Award for best administration employee.
