Hawaiian’s community initiative with CanTeen
underline

A new community initiative between Hawaiian and CanTeen will see the group encourage its commercial tenants to support the national organisation assisting young people who live with cancer.

Hawaiian will work with the commercial tenants based at one of its St Georges Terrace properties in a bid to raise funds for CanTeen, in the lead-up to the organisation’s major fundraising activity, National Bandanna Day.

London House tenants based at 216 St Georges Terrace will have the opportunity to attend a presentation by CanTeen on 13 October to hear about how the organisation supports young Australians aged between 12 and 24 who have cancer, or who live with a parent or sibling with cancer, and what corporate companies or individuals can do to assist.

The presentation will be followed by a sausage sizzle with all funds raised going towards CanTeen’s programs, camps and services which bring young people living with cancer together in a secure and supportive environment.

Hawaiian’s initiative is part of the group’s commitment to nurturing and supporting young people in the community, and engaging its tenants in worthwhile community activities.
