Kimberley Klub to remain Broome’s Backpacker Haven
underline

One of Broome’s most popular Backpacker accommodation destinations is to remain the town’s budget accommodation for backpackers and budget conscious travellers.

The Kimberley Klub has recently been purchased by Hawaiian Property Group, which also owns Cable Beach Club Resort.

Whilst there has been speculation about the future of the Kimberley Klub, Hawaiian is keen to assure Broome residents and backpackers alike that it will be business as usual in Broome.

“We are very content to retain Kimberley Klub as a backpacker facility as we know there is a real need for that type of accommodation in Broome,” stated Hawaiian’s General Manager of Operations, Peter Gibbons.

“We consider the purchase of the Kimberley Klub as a wise financial proposition for our Group, given the shortage of accommodation in the Broome region.

We also value the synergies with our own staff accommodation needs in the town,” added Mr. Gibbons.

The Kimberley Klub is a quality accommodation that mainly caters for Backpackers and budget conscious travellers. Its central location close to Broome’s airport and its choice of spacious dormitories and rooms enables it to provide a wide range of accommodation options for holiday makers and travellers.
