Students from Kensington Primary School were shooting hoops with the best of them when they attended the Perth Wildcats vs New Zealand Breakers game night at Challenge Stadium on Saturday 20 December.
On the night, the students participated in group activities and drill sessions led by the Wildcats Development coaches on the main court during the half-time break.
The games and drill will saw the students having the chance to demonstrate their skills and learn some new techniques from Basketball’s experts in a fun and relaxed environment.
This excursion forms part of the ‘Hawaiian Alive’ program, an initiative from Hawaiian, which aims to enrich the school curriculum by providing unique opportunities for school students.

Aware of the tight budget restrictions that many schools operate within, Hawaiian has grasped the opportunity to provide a number of activities through their sponsorship partners to both primary and high school students in the Perth metropolitan area.
Now into its second year, ‘Hawaiian Alive’ has been met with positive response from teachers who see its value for their students.
Kensington Primary School teacher, Frank Davey, said his students had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
