The Park Centre (owned by Hawaiian) was a proud partner with the Town of Victoria Park and the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts in this year’s Victoria Park Art Awards, an initiative that encourages creativity amongst the community.
The winning artwork of the Quokka First Prize Any Medium category was a stunning collage, titled ‘Local Talent’ by artist Mutsuko Bonnardeaux.
Judges commended Mutsuko for her ‘fantastic execution of a unique medium and her outstanding composition, capturing a fantastic feel in the subject matter’.
Evan Briers, General Manager of Investments for Hawaiian feels the Art Awards are an ideal way for the company to give back to the community.
“Partnering with the Town of Victoria Park and the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts in these Awards forms part of Hawaiian’s commitment to supporting the local community, and the display of Art Works helps to create a point of interest for shoppers at the Centre,” Mr Briers said.
