| Aspiring fashion students visit Carillon City's 'The Carton'

As part of Hawaiian Alive, Melville Senior High School students visited The Carton fashion designers at Carillon City on Monday 23 August.
The Year 8 and 9 students, who are studying fashion and design, enjoyed a question and answer session with the young designers.
Ellie Meyer, Andrea Wolf and Jane Kelsey have been busy working on their collections from the design space in Carillon City for Perth Fashion Festival's Student Runway parade.

There was much celebration last night when the winners of the annual Victoria Park Art Awards were announced.
The Park Centre is proud to once again partner with the Town of Victoria Park and Victoria Park Centre for the Arts for this creative and inspiring event.
Over $6000 in prizes were awarded at last night’s official opening night and awards presentation.
