50 Pitt Street, Sydney
50 Pitt Street, Sydney
Hawaiian acquired the older style 50 Pitt Street building with the vision to transform it to a boutique amenity delivering A Grade style and sophistication along with state of the art commercial facilities.
Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD commercial precinct, this 15 storey, 10,000m² building is destined to become Hawaiian’s flagship eastern state asset.
The major redevelopment of 50 Pitt Street is set to redefine the building as a contemporary and modern space and is also designed to target a 4 Star Green Star rating.
New lifts and a new chilled beam air conditioning system are being fitted into 50 Pitt Street, alongside Green Star compliant interior and exterior paint finishes, carpets and other fixtures. Energy uses will be able to be measured by individual tenancies and Co2 outputs will be monitored on a floor by floor basis.
Other features that recognise the Green Star rating include parking space for bicycles, lockers and showers for tenants, a dedicated recycling waste storage area, and the elimination of ozone depleting insulants.
Due for completion in 2008, the project is estimated to be valued in excess of $100 million.
