235 St Georges Terrace, Perth
235 St Georges Terrace, a joint venture project by Hawaiian and its development partner Multiplex, will provide an unparalleled commercial building set in the hub of the Perth CBD.
The development is being built in two stages.
The first stage commenced in December 2006 and comprises a nine level office tower totaling 18,000m² set amongst the historic Bishops See gardens. KPMG has pre-committed to 7,000m² with Macquarie Bank pre-committing to 4,188m².
Further to KPMG and Macquarie Bank pre-committments to lease, the first tower is now fully leased following an organisation, wishing to remain confidential, agreeing to a pre-commitment of approximately 4,188m² on the first two floors.
A leasing pre-commitment for Stage 2 of the development is now actively being sought.
235 St Georges Terrace is a unique development site in central Perth. This landmark corner of St Georges Terrace and Mount Street enjoys panoramic views of the Swan River, Kings Park and Parliament House while the heritage buildings and private garden provide an unsurpassed amenity for the office population.
Stage 1 of the development is scheduled for completion early 2009 with an end value of $160 million.
Stage 1 of 235 St Georges Terrace has also been awarded a 5 Star Greenstar office design rating by the Green Building Council Australia, a first for West Australian new property developments.
