Mr Russell Gibbs / Chief Executive Officer
Russell Gibbs joined Hawaiian in 1996 and was appointed as CEO in March 2000. He has a wealth of practical property experience, gained during his time in senior management at Jones Lang La Salle. Russell recently completed his four year tenure as the President of the Property Council of Australia, WA.
Mr Damian Gordon / Chief Financial Officer
Damian Gordon joined Hawaiian as Chief Financial Officer in February 2002 and is responsible for all financial activities of the Group. Damian has a broad background in the corporate and finance area primarily involving the assessment, funding and structuring of investments in the property and natural resources industries.
Mr Stuart Duplock / General Manager, Property Development
Stuart Duplock qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 and worked in Australia and the UK in the area of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Upon returning to Perth in 1994 he gained extensive experience in the development and syndication of property projects with several prominent Western Australian corporations. Stuart joined Hawaiian in May 2000 and is responsible for the effective management of Hawaiians development activities in accordance with the portfolio strategy.
Mr Peter Gibbons / General Manager, Operations
Peter Gibbons has extensive experience in property investment banking and has worked for some of the world's largest investment banking institutions within Australia, United States, South East Asia and China. Peter has managed dedicated structured property finance teams and has experience in providing specialised property solutions. His background is diverse, covering valuation, financing, sales and leasing and business development. As General Manager of Operations at Hawaiian, Peter works across the business lines to ensure Hawaiian delivers high quality services to its tenants, stakeholders and associated relationships.
Mr Evan Briers / General Manager, Investments
Evan Briers joined Hawaiian in September 2004 with extensive experience in the field of asset management gained during his time with Jones Lang LaSalle in Perth and Challenger Financial Services. Evan's additional areas of expertise include investment management of private property syndicates and other institutional grade assets.
Ms Kate O’Hara / Group Manager, Marketing
Kate O’Hara’s marketing career began in the late 1980’s and expands across many sectors including retail, tourism, construction, mining and finance. Kate's career started with JMG Marketing (originally part of Marketforce) which led to working for 4 years in Singapore at DNC Advertising. On returning to Perth, Kate joined The Shorter Group where she was a Group Account Director and part of the management team. Several years as State Manager for The Capital Group in Perth was followed by the creation of a boutique consultancy, Intersect Communications. Kate’s role at Hawaiian involves overseeing the communications strategy across all aspects of the business and leading a team of Managers and coordinators responsible for the marketing strategies and execution for 7 retail centres, 4 commercial buildings and over 30 development projects as well as corporate communications. Kate is a committee member of The 500 Club.
Mr Andrew Nand-Lal / Company Secretary and Group Manager, Finance Administration
Andrew has worked as a chartered accountant for KPMG and Ernst & Young in Australia and the UK, specialising in the areas of property development and hospitality & tourism. Andrew’s expertise include establishing and managing corporate governance structures, understanding and implementing financial and legal statutory requirements in addition to developing and maintaining systems and procedures that promote synergy, efficiency and integration. Joining Hawaiian in 2005, Andrew’s current role is to ensure the financial, administrative and information technology activities operate efficiently and effectively.
